American singer Mary Millben alleged that US-based donors opposed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi are funding Abhijeet Dipke and the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), claiming that the money is being used to support activities aimed at disrupting governance in India.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Mary Millben appealed to young Indians to speak out against what she described as attempts to undermine PM Modi’s leadership, urging them to organise and peacefully protest against the CJP.
“To all the beautiful young patriots in India: This is not the time to be silent,” Mary Millben wrote.
She alleged that Abhijeet Dipke and the CJP were receiving funds from donors in the United States who oppose PM Modi and his leadership. Addressing young Indians, she added, “Do not fear, my young patriots.”
Mary Millben claimed that certain US donors follow a pattern of targeting conservative leaders around the world by supporting individuals who could challenge their governments.
“And these select donors have a pattern globally—target conservative global leaders, find a U.S. educated person from the country, radicalize them, send them back to the country, and fund them to start chaos and destruction,” she wrote.
She further alleged that such activities, while not necessarily succeeding in their objectives, had affected the development and governance of countries.
Mary Millben also defended PM Modi’s political record, referring to his 25 years in public life and 12 years as prime minister. She said he had been elected for three consecutive terms and asserted that he would not give in to what she described as disruptive forces originating in the US.
“Your Prime Minister, who has served India for 25 years, 12 years as Prime Minister, elected three consecutive terms, is not going to bow to disruptive forces from my country,” she said in the post.
Calling for young Indians to mobilise, Mary Millben urged them to organise and peacefully protest against what she described as the “disruptive spirit” of the Cockroach Party.
“It is time for a new voice in India, born, raised, educated on the soil of India, to RISE UP, organize, and peacefully protest the disruptive spirit of the Cockroach Party,” she wrote.
She argued that a counter-movement was necessary to protect democratic values and freedom, concluding her appeal with the words, “There should always be a counter movement to uphold democracy and freedom.”
“Rise up, young patriots! Rise up!” she added.
