    India Crossed-Out!
  • Ambedkar Says …

The methods adopted by the invaders have left behind them their aftermath. One aftermath is the bitterness between the Hindus and the Muslims which they have caused. This bitterness, between the two, is so deep-seated that a century of political life has neither succeeded in assuaging it; nor in making people forget it. As the invasions were accompanied with destruction of temples and forced conversions, with spoliation of property, with slaughter, enslavement and abasement of men, women and children, what wonder if the memory of these invasions has ever remained green, as a source of pride to the Muslims and as a source of shame to the Hindus?  — B. R. Ambedkar

The History of Hindu India

History of Hindu India – Hinduism Today Editors & Shiva Bajpai

The history of today’s Hindus, one-sixth of our human race, extends back beyond recorded history. In The History of Hindu India, we pick up the threads of Hindu practice evident in the Indus-Sarasvati civilization, which was the largest and in many ways the most advanced of the ancient civilizations. From there we trace the development of Hinduism through the early empires of India, a time of great advances in science, architecture, art and literature—during which Europe was experiencing the Middle Ages. Then came the years of trial by invasion, followed by colonization and finally, in the 20th century, independence. Throughout these periods of history, we highlight the people, philosophical ideas and religious practices that are key to the Hindu religion today. ♦♦♦

  1. Another well meaning but pusillanimous attempt thus rendering it unauthentic .Giving credit to the cowardly hinduphobic treacherous Gandhi further reinforces my point. This is a lovely ode to Hinduism as sanctioned and accepted by abrahamics. Another wasted attempt.

  2. Although you could cover (untill these 3 episodes) Hindu history briefly, the real atrocities by Mughals and Westerners were very conveniently sidelined. People from other part of the world might not understand the mental agony of Indians by these Inveders of Mughals and Westners. Had these been added, would have been better.

  3. I am a Hindu. And we have been Hindus for the last several generations.I do agree that we should not compare with Islam and Christianity.
But there has been so much infighting amongst The various sects of Hinduism, the key people are the very people who promote Hinduism.
The dominance of Vishnu,Krishna,Rama, versus other Indian gods like Siva, the minuscule icons of village Gods and Kali gods are irrelevant at the moment.
How do you explain that. There is so much propaganda in India to promote one group versus the other. And it is sooo obvious.
So many ordinary and simple Hindus would be confused. To remain a Hindu you have to remain and practice, what has been been taught to you by your parents or quietly change it to Vishnu,Krishna and Rama.to forget your own languages and learn Sanskrit,RigVedas, and other Vedas.
    Is that what you mean.
    How would Hinduism survive?
Would this same revolution not happen again in a thousand years, and convert people again to some other brand of Hinduism.
Where does the ethics of Hinduism lie.

  4. True history is very important for defining one’s or a nation’s identity.
It shoulder taught in schools and universities in Hindustan. The need is for writing true history text books by pro-Vedic and patriotic Vedic historians.

    On Hindus’ tolerance:
Hindus mistakenly think Islam and Christianity, which are forcibly invaded in Hindustan, are also good religions. Religions can be compared objectively to find which religion is better than another for personal and world peace and prosperity. A short article at below link shows how to do it.

To retail the freedom to practice Vedic dharma two thing need to be done by the Hindus in Hindustan:
    1) Live per dhama as is provided by Krishna in Bhagavad Gita. This will stop any and all malpractices of dharma such as the caste by birth (a malpractice of varna dharma where vana is defined by one’s guna and karma).

    2) With unity, and united grass root movement declare Bhaarat a Vedic State, not secular (because the Vedic dharma and culture is inherently tolerant of all the tolerant faiths.) Also, amend the constitution to make it pro-Vedic (because currently it is anti-Vedic and so anti majority.)
if not done, a time will come where the Hindus will become homeless like Jews were, and will be kicked around every where by the anti-Vedics. There is no meaning (except seer foolishness of the Hindus) of
1947 partition of India if this is not done.

I will answer any question related to he points made above.

    jai sri krishna!
