‘The methods adopted by the invaders have left behind them their aftermath. One aftermath is the bitterness between the Hindus and the Muslims which they have caused. This bitterness, between the two, is so deep-seated that a century of political life has neither succeeded in assuaging it; nor in making people forget it. As the invasions were accompanied with destruction of temples and forced conversions, with spoliation of property, with slaughter, enslavement and abasement of men, women and children, what wonder if the memory of these invasions has ever remained green, as a source of pride to the Muslims and as a source of shame to the Hindus?” – Dr. B. Hindus should not convert an Apad Dharma into Sanatana Dharma – Sita Ram Goel

Sita Ram Goel“Flattering the bully may become necessary when the bully is powerful and there remains no other way of softening him except by extolling his heroes or his cult. Hindus have experienced such emergencies vis-a-vis both Islam and Christianity. But there is no reason for their continuing with the same psychology. Hindus should not convert an Apad Dharma into Sanatana Dharma.” – Sita Ram Goel

The first glimpse of the Jesus of the gospels came to me in 1956. My Jesuit friend who had tried to convert me, had failed in the attempt. When we were back at the mission headquarters in Patna, the following dialogue took place between us.

“You believe that Jesus was an avatar,” he asked.

“Yes, I do,” I replied.

“Can an avatar tell a lie?”

“He is not supposed to.”

“What if Jesus says he is the only God?”

“He can’t say that.”

JesusMy friend picked up a copy of the New Testament and read out several passages from the gospels. Jesus did say in so many words not only that he was the only God but also that those who did not accept his claim would burn for ever in the infernal pit.

I realized with painful surprise that Jesus was not all Sermon on the Mount as I had been led to believe by his Hindu votaries. Years passed, and I had no time to spare for Jesus. I turned to him again in the eighties when Ram Swarup made me wise about the character of monotheistic creeds. It was then that I turned to the gospels. I was horrified. Now I could see why the history of Christianity had been what it had been. The source of the poison was in the Jesus of the gospels. The rest of my studies followed.

A few years ago I was discussing the menace of Christian missions with a Gandhian friend. He agreed with me that there was something sinister about them. I told him that we shall have to tell our people the truth about Jesus if we wanted to tackle the missions. He was visibly shaken, and said to me in a voice choked with emotion, “Sitabhai. Jesus ko kucch mat kahiye (Brother Sita, do not touch Jesus)!”

“Have you read the gospels,” I asked him.

He was annoyed, and shot back, “That is a personal question.”

I had to drop the subject. Every time I have asked opinionated people about the source of their opinion on a particular question, I have been accused of being personal. I am thinking of writing an essay — Advantages of Being An Ass.

And now I have defied the ban. I do not know how my Gandhian friend will take it.

Jesus the YogiI have wondered over the years why we Hindus have remained preoccupied with the behaviour patterns of Muslims and Christians and not with the belief systems which create those behaviour patterns. We object to Christian missions, but refuse to discuss Christianity and its god, Jesus. We object to Islamic terrorism, but refuse to have a look at Islam and its prophet, Muhammad. I see no sense or logic in this Hindu habit.

In fact, we go a step further. We appeal to the Christian missionaries in the name of Jesus, and ask them not to do what they have been doing. We appeal to the Muslims in the name of Muhammad, and ask them to stop doing what they have been doing. In the process, we have invented a “real” Jesus and a “true” Christianity. We have also invented a “real” Muhammad and a “true” Islam. The missionary and the mullah smiles at our inventions but goes ahead and makes good use of our soft-headedness. That is why we have failed to solve the “communal problem” all these years. We have never tried to find out why our own people, which both Christians and Muslims are, should become alienated from us when they pass under the spell of Christianity and Islam.

Flattering the bully may become necessary when the bully is powerful and there remains no other way of softening him except by extolling his heroes or his cult. Hindus have experienced such emergencies vis-a-vis both Islam and Christianity. But there is no reason for their continuing with the same psychology. Hindus should not convert an Apad Dharma into Sanatana Dharma. – Preface to Jesus Christ: An Artifice for Aggression, Voice of India, 2001

  1. IS,

Today I want to speak by my voice of utter silence. However I post a small clip from the above,”Flattering the bully may become necessary when the bully is powerful and there remains no other way of softening him except by extolling his heroes or his cult.”

When Indira Gandhi was asked to marry perhaps a Hindu, “She is supposed to have said, marry, a Hindu…..eeeeeeeee??? You know the history more than me.

Nehru said to Galbraith in 1956 perhaps haughtily, “I am the last English Prime Minister of India”. You may also recall his other words about his own faith, I mean religion. Recall again Rajiv Gandhi, “What did he say in London
when he went there soon after he became PM”? Is his family Parsi? This entire family is a bunch of liers, sexual offenders, economic offenders and what not; yet they are the most honest and powerful family in India.

You try to dig anything against her on Google, her entire news has been suppressed. You may advance your Sanatana Dharma but her Sanatana Dharma is more powerful than yours and mine. Nothing doing. She has ensured a deal in August 2011 in the name of her false pretext of medical treatment. You saw how the media are grilling the family of Yuvaraj, the cricketer but no one dared question her family or her own self till date. On the other hand, she is being pampered by your loyal Indian media. When it comes to the Dynasty, everything is private.

Nathuram has been blamed as RSS man just because he put on a khaki half pant and white shirt to escape scrutiny from suspicion, he was never an active RSS worker as far as my knowledge goes. Nehru needed a tool to suppress the Hindu sentiments soon after the partition. Please stretch your imagination to immediate post indendent period when Gandhi was murdered.

India was ripe with Hindu sentiments. Nehru had only one danger and that was from the majority Hindu votary. He was appointed PM from the backdoor, courtesy our apostle of truth. Nobody was happy with his conduct.
He needed a tool and the “dress” of Nathuram Godse provided him. Lord Mountabatten was still nursed in the backyard of Nehru so that he could continue with his Platonic love.

The miniscule media and the powerful English Generals’ controlled military needed a fool to support and your Apad Dharma versus Sanatan Dharma was broken like glass pieces into dust. Lord Mountbatten and Nehru, both got what they wanted; both did not want the rise of Hindu state. Lord Mountbatten got a plolongation till June 1948, the English D-Day and Nehru got two birds killed in one shot. Suppression of Hindus and another ten months of incessant Platonic Love. There are no free lunches. She extracted her maximum mileage from Nehru and Nehru traded her fl**sh.

If you look at and ask a question to yourself, “Why Nehru needed to continue Mountbattens after 15th August when his tenure officialy ended?

I was a small school kid in a village in Rajasthan and we used to go everyday in the evening in RSS ‘shAkhA’ more to play and partake in the drill than its politics. We were unaware but my uncle was very active, he had to leave the village alongwith the entire RSS batalion overnight to escape arrest and its sequelly. I used to ask, “Why have they stopped it”? They were so scared that no one was even prepared to talk about it. I was too small to understand it. Nobody in the entire village was prepared to risk. I know it now.

The bus was missed for ever. I enjoyed reading the post very much, only to speak through my language of silence. Sorry I haven’t said a word. You haven’t read either.
    God bless
