  1. The Akshardham Temple in Noida, New Delhi is reportedly built on the Yamuna floodplain too. Has the National Green Tribunal (NGT) ever investigated this temple building project on the riverside?

Why does the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) give permission for events and building projects on the Yamuna floodplain in the first place? Why does it allow the dumping of building rubble there, which will impede the water flow—if and when there is a water flow in that part of the very dead river?
